Things you need to take care before applying for Prometric Exams

Are you a general or specialist dentist? Are you looking for practicing in Gulf countries, Qatar and Saudi? For doing this, you will have to pass the eligibility exams conducted by the country. After passing, the exams will be getting the license for practicing dentistry. - moh license

  • United Arab Emirates (UAE) 

 

To apply for the Exams as a General Dentist in UAE, you must have a degree from the health science program. You should also complete the internship program of one year and two years of clinical experience. The dentists who don't possess any internship completion evidence will need experience of an additional two years.

 

  • Dubai Health Authority (DHA) exam

 

For working in Dubai, a person needs to pass the DHA exam questions for nurses. If anyone passes the DHA exams, it will allow you to apply for Dubai's jobs only and not anywhere else. If you think of applying anywhere else in UAE, then it will not be eligible.  

 

  • Ministry of Health (MOH) Exam

 

If anyone passes the moh exam questions, they will have the right to search the job opportunities in Ajman, Fujairah, Sharjah, Umm al-Quwain, and Ras al-Khaimah only. 

 

The Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) examination will be 3 hours. The actual timing of these examinations will be 2.5 hours for the 100 MCQs. In simpler words, your computer will be times at the 2.5 hours while you begin Prometric exam questions. But the appointment slot will only last up to 3 hours. The extra time will only accommodate you to verification and identify yourself in the examination.

 

The results of the Prometric examination will get uploaded within 48 hours. The results of this examination are only based upon the number of correct answers. The examinee above the 60 percent will be considered as the Pass for MOH and DHA exams. 

 

QATAR

 

  • Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP)

 

The Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) is a qualifying exam for Qatar. This can be considered as one of the requirements for licensing or registration of the practitioners.  

 

For applying in these exams, you will need a recognized degree from a health science program. You must have completed the internship program for one year. You must have 2 years' experience in the clinic. If you do not hold this experience, you will be appointed as the trainee dentist until the clinical period's satisfaction experience. The SCH of Qatar will issue the license of the trainee. The parametric exam questions will include 100 MCQs. The completion time of this paper will be 2.5 hours. 

 

You will be obtaining the score report card immediately after completion of the parametric exam questions. The grade is set at 60 percent for passing the QCHP examinations. You can even give examinations up to 3 times in a year.
